As promised the EasyLister and OMINS stock system has and huge overhaul in the last couple of months. Here is a quick rundown of some of the changes made:

Out of stock setting. You can now set your Easylister to edit your current auctions to an “out of stock” auction if an item runs out of stock while you still have live auctions. It will also edit the auction to the shortest possible auction length so it will end as soon as it possibly can without costing you any money. If the item goes back into stock i.e you receive more it will edit it back to the original auction. Note: The auction must not have met the reserve and have more than 1hr to run.

To comply with Trademe rules please edit the default to a tangible item such as a paperclip i.e a ‘real’ item.

To find this setting please go to your settings menu > trademe settings for easylister or your settings > promo groups then the trademe tab in the promo group for omins

You can edit the title, description and price. You can optionally also set it to remove any photos attached to the auction.

For our EasyWholsale users: It will now reserve stock when an auction reserve is met (within an hour) which means that it will be reserved for you in the vendors system and won’t be available to anyone else.

We know that it was a big issue regarding overselling and stock levels so we have worked hard to ensure that all loopholes have been closed.

Trade Me is offering free gallery for all users today only (4th November), and we wanted to make sure all of our users were taking advantage of the offer!

For both OMINS & EasyLister users, all of your current auctions and any new auctions listed today will automatically be upgraded to free gallery. You don’t need to do anything to take advantage of this offer.

Keep in mind this will not alter the actual products in your system, so when OMINS or EasyLister relists them, they will use the promotions as you originally set up.

So as we all know that come 1 October 2010 the GST rate will increase to 15%. Some of you organised folks have already been in touch (and those who haven’t we know that you are too busy selling and were getting there)

Here at Snipesoft we want to make this stressful time as simple as possible – any invoices made in OMINS after midnight 31st of September will automatically have the new 15% GST rate applied. Dont worry the old rate of 12.5% will still be there – you just need to change it using the dropdown box on the invoice.

If you have any special requirements please email us the week beforehand and we will be happy to accomodate

Some of you have been asking ” What rate of GST do I use?” The IRD states – When there is a GST rate change (in this case from 12.5% to 15%), the GST rate you use depends on when the transaction occurs (the time of supply). The time of supply is when the supplier issues an invoice or receives a payment, whichever happens first. Like every good rule there are some transactions where this differs.
For specifics see http://www.ird.govt.nz/changes/gst/businesses/supply/ In particular the rule regarding GST on imports may be important.

The IRD has some useful info links for those who may be feeling a little lost or just give them a call on 0800 377 774

http://www.ird.govt.nz/changes/checklist/

http://www.ird.govt.nz/changes/gst/businesses/adjust-rate/budget-gst-decision-tree-q1.html

Easywholesale has been growing in leaps and bounds since its inception and now has over 500 products for users to choose from. Sales have been going gangbusters with some of our users selling more than $1000 a week on top of their original sales!!

If you haven’t looked into EasyWholesale sale yet or don’t know what it is now is certainly the time to find out. Just log into your Easylister account and look under the Easywholesale menu to get access to an entire range of products specifically chosen for their appeal on online auction sites such as Trade Me & Sella. With a few simple clicks you can load them onto Trademe or Sella and begin selling an entirely new range of products risk free!!

In the next month or so we should also be releasing a tricks, tips and support manual to help our users get the best results from Easywholesale so keep an eye out for that. In the mean time however don’t forget about our support forum where you can post a question and get help from us and other users.

It’s been a busy few months! We’ve been working hard on some great new features for EasyLister. Below is a brief outline of the new features which are available in your systems right now.

EasyWholesale (beta) now available

EasyWholesale beta was made available in all EasyLister systems a few weeks ago, and the reaction so far has been fantastic. In fact, the majority of active EasyWholesale users have already increased their sales by at least $200 per week! If you’re looking for more products to sell on Trade Me, sign up to EasyLister today and get started!

About EasyWholesale: This unique free service allows you to easily discover new products and get them listed on Trade Me (and now Sella – see below!) with the click of a button.

EasyLister now supports Sella

That’s right – with EasyLister, it’s now as easy to list on Sella as it is to list on Trade Me! In-fact, with only a couple of clicks you can enable your products for Sella and have them start listing straight away.

With the new Sella support also comes an updated List Now system, which is easier to use and allows for tighter control over what sites to list on and how many auctions to create on each.

Note that Sella requires two forms of verification before you can list, so ensure you have sorted this out otherwise EasyLister will not be able to list on your Sella account.

New dynamic-pricing panel for EasyWholesale products

A powerful new feature for EasyWholesale products is the ability to float prices against the EasyWholesale cost. This means that, if the EasyWholesale cost price changes, your prices can change along with it by a set percentage or amount. Click thumbnail image to enlarge.

Update live auction details on Trade Me & Sella

Have you ever wanted to change your pricing, or correct a typo in your listings? Until now you’d have to edit each auction individually – but not any more! When you make a change to a product in EasyLister, you can simply click a button to have those changes reflected in any of your current auctions (unless they have bids). This makes it incredibly easy to keep your products up to date on Trade Me and Sella.

Minor visual changes & performance updates

Of course, no update would be complete without some smaller fixes here and there, and some small performance improvements across the board. These updates should enhance your EasyLister experience.

We hope you like this update – let us know what you think on our support forums!
